Our name reconciliation (Versöhnung) is a reality opened by God and a constant challenge for our shared live.

The Protestant Reconciliation Church Parish Iserlohn is located in the middle of the town of Iserlohn and has three heritage-protected churches

  • Oberste Stadtkirche (upper city church)
  • Bauernkirche (farmers church, original: St. Pankratius church)
  • Reformierte Kirche (reformed church).

Meetings take place furthermore in our three parish halls (Lutherhaus, Dördel, Griesenbeckhaus) and also in the day centres for children, all of which are constituent parts of our family centre „Miteinander“ (together).

About 7500 members belong to the parish (status 2015), who are given spiritual counsel in two parish districts by pastor Jürgen Löprich (West-district) and pastor-couple Mirjam and Dirk Ellermann (East-district). Pastor Andres Kuhn has his priority in city work, pastor Rahel Schöttler accompanies on a voluntary basis the church choir.

In addition to all this the choirmaster and organist couple Ute and Hanns-Peter Springer deliver church music for all generations, and Timon Tesche is in charge as an adviser for church-based youth work, working for the integration of young people with migrant background in our youth-cafe “Checkpoint” in the Lutherhaus.

Our mission statement is:

reconciled   -   enamored    -   connected
